Stephen Boccieri

Founder & CEO

A longtime mechanical engineer for one of the world’s largest petrochemical and nuclear companies, Stephen Boccieri, turned his childhood passion and near-scratch skills playing golf into solid business. In 1994, he founded Engineered Golf, which offered R&D services to the golf industry. Steve was one of the first engineers to modernly analyze the nuances between different golf-club shafts by profiling and dynamic load testing. Then, for more than three years, he combined his scientific aptitude and spirit to innovate with golfers’ biomechanics (human motion) – and the concept and patented technology behind the Heavy Putter was perfected. The Heavy Putter came to market in January 2005 with the success of over 100 thousand putters sold and fourteen PGA wins. Stephen than launched the Heavy Wedges to maximize the golfer’s short game. In 2010 the Control Series Swing clubs were launched that featured the technology of back-weighing, which improves the golfer’s consistency, control and distance. Stephen mission is to make better golfers with his equipment. He is even more passionate about his mission today than eight years ago, as he continues to develop new innovate product. Boccieri is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology where he received his engineering degree.

Tim Greenwell


Tim Greenwell, a golf industry veteran with 25-plus years of experience, is an expert in driving rapid sales growth and building market share. During Greenwell’s career he has worked with the Arizona Golf Association, Southwest Section of the PGA, The Golf Channel and Troon Golf. While at Troon Golf, the world’s largest golf course management company, he was the Senior Vice President of Global Branding & Marketing. Hired by Troon Golf in 1997, Greenwell was charged with building and leading the sales and marketing departments.

Sandra Boccieri

VP Sales & Marketing

Following studies at Carnegie Mellon University as a Theatre Arts major and Broadway performances, Sandra turned her talents to the sales, education and marketing where she then enjoyed a 25-year career working in positions of ever-increasing responsibility within the parent company of Estee Lauder. Her career in this highly competitive world began with a management position with Prescriptives, where she provided marketing expertise for the brand at national accounts including Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Competitive and analytical, Ms. Boccieri adds strong leadership and influencing abilities to her skill set and has had responsibility for sales volume in the hundred millions. She advanced to leadership positions at Estee Lauder where she was Vice President for Retail Sales Development and subsequently to Origins where she rose to the position of Vice President National Sales Manager and than on to Vice President of Global Education and Special Events. As National Sales Manager Sandra successfully launched and executed the Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins product category, utilizing her special talents in sales, marketing, education and special events. She collaborated with Dr. Andrew Weil, and Dr.James Nicoli to develop in-store wellness education programs. National Ad Sales Director for VIVmag a totally digital women’s luxury lifestyle magazine Sandra Boccieri utilizes her sales experience to introduce an exciting new interactive advertising media to potential clients. She is also a key member of the marketing strategy team to expand the reach of the magazine and website development. Sandra began consulting in sales and marketing and using her vast knowledge and proved past best practices to expand distribution channels and improve market share for Heavy Putter, LLC. When the position of sales manager became available Sandra was a natural to fill the post at Boccieri Golf. Now living in Scottsdale and working with her favorite boss Stephen Boccieri she is one happy camper.

Blake Isakson

Director of Instruction

Blake has been involved in the golf industry for the better part of a decade. He played his collegiate golf at Phoenix College where he excelled both academically as well as athletically. He was a 2 time NJCAA All-American and also a team leader being recognized as a scholar athlete. After injury sidelined him from competitive golf, Blake went on to Arizona State University where he earned his degree in Finance. After graduating from Arizona State Blake was ready to again try his hand at competitive golf and turned pro playing professional all over the United States as well as qualifying for membership on the Tour de las Americas. In the offseason Blake used his passion for golf and teaching to start several successful after school ventures combining golf skills and life values. He also founded BtoB Golf an organization dedicated to growing the game of golf through the introduction of junior golfers. His passion for golf is evident having been an instructor for Nike Golf Schools in Utah as well as coaching high school golf for several years. He also has been a contributing writer for Arizona Golfer, and has published several articles on junior golf. In addition to writing and coaching Blake has taught and caddied for top ranked amateurs and professionals around the world. Bringing his swing philosophy and playing experience to a wide spectrum of players. Blake is very excited about joining the Boccieri Golf team and helping to advance their mission of making better golfers.
