Boccieri Golf Names Robert Grabeklis Regional Sales Director for The Heavy Putter

(RIDGEFIELD, CT) - Boccieri Golf - maker of the TOUR-proven Heavy Putter - announces that Robert Grabeklis has been named Regional Sales Director to help service the rapidly growing demand for the company's revolutionary, game-enhancing putters.

Relying on his extensive sales and management experience, Grabeklis will oversee Boccieri Golf accounts in 31 states. Prior to joining Boccieri Golf, Grabeklis was an award-winning Sales Manager for a commercial lumber company in New York City, where he directed all in-house employees and field representatives, and obtained multi-million dollar purchase orders.

"Robert's strong drive and work ethic are tremendous assets to the Heavy Putter brand," says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf and inventor of the Heavy Putter. "His proven track record and emphasis on servicing retailers to help move inventory makes him the ideal fit for this position."

"I have signed on with Boccieri Golf and Heavy Putter with great expectations, and plan on doing my part to make certain we, and retailers, reach and exceed goals," says Grabeklis. "I am thrilled to be a part of this dynamic company with a putter line that outperforms golfers' current brands."

Introduced in early 2005, the Heavy Putter quickly established itself in the industry and is now carried in 50 states, 30 overseas markets, and in many of the finest off-course shops and most prestigious golf courses, country clubs and resorts worldwide.

In late 2007, the company released the Heavy Putter Deep Face Series, featuring two blades and three mallets, each with a raised center of gravity on the clubface that more closely aligns the sweet spot of the putter with that of the golf ball for improved overall performance. The line immediately received praise from media and TOUR players alike.

About the Heavy Putter

The Heavy Putter remains the first and only putter that automatically improves the consistency of the putting stroke. Its unprecedented application of a heavier mass head and counter-balanced weight in the grip end of the shaft promotes greater stroke stability, consistent swing paths, uniform pace, precise distance and directional control, and tightens the end-over-end golf ball roll.

Troy Matteson used the Heavy Putter to win the PGA TOUR's Open en route to five consecutive top-10 finishes. In addition, the Heavy Putter has contributed to a victory and three top-five finishes on the 2008 European PGA TOUR. Asian PGA TOUR, Canadian and Nationwide Tour champions have also won with the Heavy Putter, which has been used in competition by major-tournament winners.
