Boccieri Golf Introduces Heavy Wedge, Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series to Middle Eastern and North African Markets

(RIDGEFIELD, CT) – Boccieri Golf announces that its game-improving Heavy Wedge and Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series are now widely available in the Middle East and North Africa as part of the company’s relationship with renowned distributor Golf Me.

Continuing the trend of strong international interest for Boccieri Golf’s award-winning products, Golf Me is showcasing the Heavy Wedge and Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series to off-course and green grass retailers throughout the region, including the growing markets ofAlgeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE and Yemen.

“We’re very excited about bringing our new products to this region, which has experienced a tremendous surge in golf participation and tourism rates over the past 10 years,” says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “Players of all abilities will embrace the lower scores and confidence that come with using our putters and wedges.”

Boccieri Golf’s popular, game-enhancing products are readily available in more than 35 markets worldwide.

“There’s no doubt the new Heavy Putter and Heavy Wedge lines will be extremely well received by players throughout the Middle East and North Africa,” says Ali M. Al-Jazzaf, Managing Director of Golf Me. “We’re constantly looking for equipment that will help shave a few strokes and that’s exactly what Boccieri Golf delivers.”

Introduced earlier this year, the Heavy Wedge is a traditionally designed blade with a head mass only slightly heavier than a conventional wedge. The added weight (65 grams) is positioned in the butt of the shaft, raising the club’s balance point nearly 40 percent, promoting distance control, an improved swing path, tighter shot dispersion, acceleration through impact, smoother tempo and unparalleled feel. It is available in a variety of lofts including 52 (8 degree bounce), 56 (11 degree bounce) and 60 (4 and 7 degrees of bounce).

Also new for 2010 is the Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series and various models in the MID-WEIGHT and HEAVY-WEIGHT lines. They are available in a black PVD, with select styles showcasing a silver satin finish. All feature the company’s innovative system of added weight within the head and grip. This causes the body to engage its larger muscles for a consistent swing path, uniform pace, precise distance and directional control, as well as tightening end-over-end golf ball roll. The new styles and weighting options provide a putter for every preference.
