The Men Behind the Putters

| Golfweek |

Before he crafted putters, Boccieri designed nuclear power plants. For 25 years, he worked for Stone & Webster, a company that helped design many of America's nuclear power plants.

It may seem like a stretch, but Boccieri says there is a connection between his analysis of putters and seismic analysis of nuclear power plants to predict how they will stand up to earthquakes.

Based on his engineering studies, Boccieri brought the Heavy Putter to the world of golf. Some of these putters, with additional weight in the head and shaft, weight almost twice as much as conventional putters. The idea here is to enhance feel and control.

Boccieri now is introducing the Heavy Putter MID-WEIGHT Series - with overall weights that fall between traditional putters and the original Heavy Putters.
